I bought a dud (Alfa Romeo 159 2.4 JTD) I bought the car from an Alfa dealer on Christmas Eve and set out on an 800 km round trip, all highway driving. So far I've had the following issues: • Steering vibration at low speeds (not there in the test drive) • Steering and Car shaking under brakes over 70 km/h. • Noise when turning left at
Nobody would deny that the Alfa Romeo 159 is a great-looking car. Unfortunately, it's also a car that was made during a period where Alfa Romeo was generally mediocre. The 159 just isn't as good as its peers, and many owners have complained about reliability problems. These days, the 159 is somewhat of a forgotten Alfa Romeo. My JTS engine is very thirsty. 8-8,5L/100 highway consumption (130-140 kph), 13,-14,5L/100 city consumption. This is partly caused by the weight of the car, however, as 159s are really heavy. As such, performance is not good. 1.9 had 160km when it was new. It drives great, though.

The car didn't, It just kept going. The torque split can vary as much as around 25:75 to either axle depending on grip at the front or rear wheels, I've never felt it do it, no doubt it has at times. The 4wd system has a transfer box with a LSD for the centre diff. A standard front and rear diff.

113 th anniversary with the alfa romeo f1 ® team Zhou Guanyu drove his F1 car from Cassino to Pomigliano to celebrate the 113 th anniversary of Alfa Romeo. A sensational experience for another unforgettable day in our history.
